Water really? Yes!

A February 2010 study in obesity showed that those who drank two cups of water before meals for 12 weeks lost approximately five pounds more than those who did not. Many of my clients think that drinking water isn’t that important, and common among women. I think it’s because sweating  like a guy isn’t lady-like. I have a client that I have been advising to ingest more water for years. Finally, it reached the point that his doctor also told him to do so. This wasn’t just about staying hydrated, this was about his health and  by drinking 3 liters a day lost almost 8 lbs over night! Water insures optimal liver function for fat-loss, increases hydration, is very important for cardiovascular health, and brain function. Make a special effort to drink more water on your cheat day, as the carbohydrate overload will pull water to you digestive tract and muscle glycogen. If you don’t get enough water headaches and fatigue may happen as a result

Max, I appreciate your time to share in your blog! I was told 10 years ago by several Doctors and nurses at the VA (where I receive my healthcare) to make water my best friend. It became a habit and now I love water, it is my best friend. Especially important for someone like me as I take about 20 prescribed medications.
